After rolling around some ideas for a new bench competition.. Ben and I have come up with the following, as our next event....

HWBot Hardware Points Challenge

This contest will be a straight-up run for who can capture the most HWBot Hardware points for OCN's HWBot team in the allotted time.

To enter the contest, please post a current [Yes, from today!!] screenshot of your HWBot homepage. At the end of May 10th, Hardware points from your HWBot page will be tallied, and deducted from your original entry post; to provide your total entered points, for the contest. Winners will be announced on May 13th, after all entries reviewed and points tallied.

Additional Rules: [pay attention folks]

1. You MUST post a valid and current screenshot of your HWBot homepage, to be entered in the contest running. This is verification purposes, screenshots for entering the contest will be noted and accepted up to April 10th.

2. You must submit benchmarks using HWBot and post results for OCN's HWBot team

Schedule of events:

April 1st - beginning of Sign-up
April 10th - end of signup period, to enter
April 11th - start of contest
May 10th - End of contest
May 13th winners announced!!!!!!

Prizes for the lucky winners will be as follows..{note you have the opportunity to capture extra winnings by earning HWBot trophies for your entered submissions... every trophy earned, for the lucky top 3 contenders, will result in Bonus $$}

* 1st place - $50
o + $3 for each 1st place trophy earned [Limit 5]
o + $2 for each 2nd place trophy earned [Limit 5]
o + $1 for each 3rd place trophy earned [Limit 5]

* 2nd place - $30
o + $3 for each 1st place trophy earned [Limit 5]
o + $2 for each 2nd place trophy earned [Limit 5]
o + $1 for each 3rd place trophy earned [Limit 5]

* 3rd place - $20
o + $3 for each 1st place trophy earned [Limit 5]
o + $2 for each 2nd place trophy earned [Limit 5]
o + $1 for each 3rd place trophy earned [Limit 5]

BONUS PRIZES

2 randomly drawn participants of the contest will receive $50 in celebration of two years of OCN being on HWBot.org. Drawing to take place on May 10th. Everyone who signs up is eligible to win so SIGN UP NOW!!

**Just for initial reference, I thought I would post the points to date of the contest for the entire team. It will be interesting to see our team's progress through the event.

I'm definitely joining this.

So the only points that will count are gonna be the ones we get during the competition and not what we have now right?

Also if I get my 7750 I'll be able to get even moar points.

I CAN ALREADY SMELL THE $$$

I grabbed 50 points in the last month, and am now selling all the chips I nabbed points with so I can buy new ones. If I have time and money I will enter.

Submissions will be accepted at the start of the contest which is the 11th. If your HWBot submission is dated any earlier than the 11th it will not count toward the contest.

Thanks for the quick responses Ben.. I just had to drive 3hrs to Redding for a service call.. sheesh!!

Good luck to those that have entered already..start setting your sights on which trophies you are shooting for!! Ben and I will be monitoring the submissions and tracking entries for the contest.. If you know a fellow OCN'r that hasnt yet posted..shoot 'em a PM, they dont want to be sleeping on this action

Thanks for the entry Corpus- as for your comment: All you have to do, is get .001sec faster to beat your existing score..and post again. As long as you improve upon an existing score/time/result.. your submission will be valid.
