Donate small increments of cash to members that have the gear to do extreme cooling and are not afraid to kill computer parts. (Me
)Seriously, just OC that CPU to the max and run some benchmarks and see if you can score some points on Hwbot. For those benchmarks your CPU does not need to be 24\7 stable. Just stable enough to run whatever bench it is. I bought 3 brand new HDD's just to try and get a higher PCmark score. I just bought a GTX285 AND a HD4890 to try and compete for a $25 prize from OCN (and a chance for a DICE pot). If you want to seriously get involved in Hwbot, buy a decent P35 or P965 chipset board, and a couple cheap P4's. Overclock the pisser out of them and bench away. Then you will want a DICE pot, or WCing. It's addictive. I spent $800 in the last 10 days on hardware to bench. Then I will just sell it and buy more ![]() EDIT: I see you submitted a CPU-z for some points but have you run the other benches for that chip? With your current OC you can score points in every single one.

Just point me in a direction with the equipment i have. Ok and for the CPU-z i guess i got .4 points? if it just has to be stable enough to run a cpu-z validation i might be able to hit 4.1 GHz or so. sorry for being such a noob EDIT: well im about to get us some more points! http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=574911 as far as she wanted to go... Ok also wondering if my Vantage score will count there is a pic below

Secondly you have a pretty nice overclock. H20 is nice cooling and you should be able to get a few more MHz with the right tweaking. For the cpu-z frequency that you got, did you use the BIOS or a program? Bios is good but you might not be able to boot at some point where the program can take you an additional 100MHz or more. You can get some good points if you do all the benchmarks for your processor. http://www.hwbot.org/hardware/proces...400%20(2.66Ghz) Also you can try getting some some points from your gtx 260 216. http://www.hwbot.org/hardware/videoc...%20260%20216SP It's a rather popular GPU though, so you might have some trouble getting in the top 20. But since you've got a quad you will do good in 3dmark06 and vantage. Just overclock your processor and Gfx card to their limits and bench bench bench! Don't forget to use tweaks! I believe in you man
