What's that? My Atom is in 1st place??
 You have to love "Chrome didn't shut down correctly, restore tabs?" Because I managed to get my Atom validated at 2251.69MHz. While Chrome didn't open the link in time, after a hard restart (as well as removing the hard drive then putting it back in), I was able to go to the last page that was (almost) opened. WOO! I've been validated by HWBot for my last submission in 7th place. I then moved up to 4th and now to first! Anyways, here's the link: http://hwbot.org/listResults.do?cpuM...true&limit=100

I used SetFSB. There are absolutely NO benefits to going as high as I did to get that record. It crashes pretty much the second I set the clocks there.
The real performance lies in where it's stable, which is around 1.9GHz. The one big advantage for me is that I can play HD movies MUCH better than the stock 1.6GHz. Since I upgraded to 2GB of memory, it's always my processor being at 100% load that holds me back. With the 0.3GHz overclock that I usually have it at, this occurs much less.

It's the processor that comes in netbooks!
It's one core with hyperthreading and a stock clock of 1.6GHz. It's also tiny and very fun to mess around with. Not many people OC this chip, leaving a lot of the runs wide open.

heres a tip, don't validate via internet. Save the cpu-z file and later validate it. This way is much better for high end overclocks because opening a browser stresses the cpu a lot more than saving a single file

I'll definitely take note of that. For this specific instance, the computer would crash the second I set the OC even if I did nothing else. So I had to do it very quickly!
