Very little. This year... I've spent 5 bucks on op-amps to mod my X-Fi. That's it.

It all depends. The main system I have now I bought 2 years ago for about $1700. Haven't spent a lot extra since then, minor purchases. Hopefully I can get saved up for my new build by the end of this year, which is about another $1700.

If you spend more than $10.000?
![]() No but I usually spend: $1-$1,000 $1,001-$2,000 Normally the $1 to $1K but if it is a brand new computer it is probably up to $2k.

I'd say between 2k-3k USD per year.

Well its hard to say exactly.
I usually just buy a new computer every 4 years for around $2,000, upgrade the video card once somewhere in between ($400), and replace the monitor once every 2 builds (so every 8 years, say around $300). Other than that I really only buy what I need. Recently that has included an upgrade to a gigabit router ($70), a low-powered server for the hosue ($200), and 4 old P-IIIs for some lan gaming ($150), and an upgrade to my storage hard drive to 1TB ($120). So I guess if you average it out it comes out to around $1200 per year.
