I am on pace to spend a little over a grand this year...I just spent a little over $400 this week on a Cosmos S, ZALMAN ZM-MFC3 Fan controller, 5 blue COOLER MASTER R4-L2R-20AC-GP 120mm fans, Scythe slipstream, New side panel with window, and of course cables and so on..That doesn't even include my new guts which might get put off to the spring.
