EDIT 2: Back to fixed, you get used to it after a couple of years.

Well...my desktop resolution is 1440x900, however when I'm browsing OCN, I have firefox open about 2/3 of the width of my screen, and the full length. If that helps at all.

I like to have SOME space left for messengers and such .
