I doubt if anyone has heard of it (in my opinion, it is on of the best open area FPS made yet) but could you host Descent: Freespace? I think it takes some sort of PXO server, not sure, but it would be cool if I could play against other human beings. :aacool: The computer just isn't smart enough.

Like I said, this is a game made in the era of Windows NT's creation, so it doesn't have the kind of graphics like DOOM III, but the quality is at least comparable to Need For Speed 1.

It takes a joystick and some incredible fighter pilot skills to suceed in. Essentially it is a dogfighting game in space that tests your control skills to the max. If you have played it, you may know what I'm talking about.

Game requirements for Internet play usually requires a broadband connection, and you should have a computer above 1.7GHz (below will do, but performance will decrease) with an ATI Radeon 128MB equivalent or greater.

It may be too old for you to host, or there may be other complications. The game itself makes a relatively small footprint on most computers, having an install size of 270 +/-30 MB.

oooooo RAG DOLL PHYSICS i loved them in farcry i just adored sniping a merc on a bridg and then slowly pushing him off with my bullets, laughing as his arms fly around all crazy like *runs away to steala copy of HL2 as he's too poor to purchase*
