All I know is that this is gonna be a good one; so much skill abounds on OCN

I was going to use my current project, but decided to start it rather than wait...

... I don't think that I will be able to finish it, and prepare another one before this competition starts.

You know, I follow every mod and post that Syr and CD post.
So whichever won, I'd still be checking out winners 3 through 10.
(Just keepin' it real, they are a level above the other 99% of us)

There are a number of other Dudes in the top 90-99.
In many ways some of the threads are as much a "Tutorial" as they are a "Case Log".
Ice Owl, radodrilll, and and a few others immediately come to mind.
As much "construction" as there is "modding" if you follow me.

Then you have the "tweaks" of "factory" cases which generally fall into five main categories: (not a specific order here)
a) Paint job - The kewl part is that Painting is a lot easier than most think.
But "Killer" paint jobs are a "biatch" to pull off.
I have to admit that a lot of the "vinyls" available can look awesome when applied correctly.
2) "Cutting" - Yup, I am a sucker for unique cuts to the case or interior structure.
The noise and sparks when I cut metal are music to my ears and eyes
Dudes love power tools.
3) Cable Management - Gets a "whoa Dude" from me every time.
I know it can take a looong time.
But it invariably helps air flow to lower temps.
4) "Unique Ideas and Personalization" - the stuff that makes you realize there is no "correct" way to do it.
It is all about creating a rig that YOU like, fug everyone else.
5) Some builds are just better to read than others.
They are written "gooder"
Seriously, run on paragraphs without punctuation are a total turn off to me.
TIP: You will have a little red line under misspelled words BEFORE you post!
ALL cell phone pics should be banned from the forum.
Detailed pics can say a thousand words.
(Walgreen's Drug store will sell you a half decent camera and put the pics on a CD for like 10 bucks).

If nothing else most members will try and do a little tweaking in some area on their rig during these competitions.
A real win-win scenario for all of us.

So bring it on.
I got another virgin Antec 900 winking at me.
