Haven't received any news from them or avast! yet... Usually publishers are prompt when accepting requests, but when you don't hear anything from them its never a good sign.

That sucks...I hate it when they take there merry time about it. I hope they respond !...there are other free solutions out there but I think AVG and Avast are the really exceptional ones.

Have you checked into ZoneAlarm by any chance ?

Just to give you an update, I have received a response from avast!. Right now I am in the works of discussing with them certain issues as they wanted us to only link their download. I'll let you know how it turns out

Unfortunately, AVG will not allow us to host their free edition here. I am still in the process of discussing with avast!
