Default Would You Attend an "Ask the Pro" Event?

We are currently recruiting our first group of Pros for our upcoming Ask the Pro events.

This thread/poll is to see how many people would attend such an event.

Here are some preliminary details:
  • The event will allow a Pro to do a short presentation on a predetermined topic related to Overclocking and for members to be able to ask questions
  • The even would happen via gotowebinar - which would allow us to accommodate up to 1000 people for a reasonable price.
  • The video of the event is delivered over the web (of course) BUT the audio is done over the phone.
    • A US number will be used and long distance charges may apply to people calling in (I know there are some free redialers out there though).
  • Assume the event would occur on a weekday night approximately 9pm EST.
So the question is - would you attend?

What are the qualifications these people must meet to be considered "pros"?

The big ones would be:
- Industry leading accomplishments
- Well known within the industry

We will be paying them for their time.

I think I would go just to be around some non overclockers and hardware enthusiasts. I don't think asking questions is a big concern, cause you can get them answered online for free.

The difference here is that you would have one of the top overclockers, case modders (etc.) answering questions in voice and potentially via video. It changes things up a little

Ah ok. I guess it would depend for me at least. I would want to know the exact points they would be elaborating on. The only thing I can think of wanting to learn is the gtl voltages and exactly how they ruin chips much faster if you push it a little too hard.

Will this be more of an advanced oc discussion or is it pretty much just stuff for newcomers/beginners?

Edit: I was wondering if Shamino would be involved also lol. He's awesome at all of this stuff.

hmmm perhaps if it was someone from ati or nvidia or some major game company (EA's battlefield or crysis/crytek team) which "leaked"/breaked something new and newsworthy it might be worthwhile and bring a lot of attention .
