 I am assuming that by laying out the Sections this way will allow for less scrolling down  Another thing would be to make the latest blog entries smaller, but as you said this is only a rough draft. Keep up the great work.

looks good, liking the brand logos on the tabs and the quote at the top
 A few suggestions- -Move the Swiftech ad section up, and then re-align the Blogs section and Downloads bit on the same vertical planes as the forums -Animated hyperlinks, so like you move the mouse over a link and the word sets on fire or something cool like that
