Will there be an option to revert to the classic layout? If so, then I love it!

I'd love that if it had square corners instead of rounded corners, rounded corners reminds me so much of gimmicks

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.

Fun fact; most of those who like it use Vista, the OS with so many display features

Looks very well except for the background. Not that it's not good but it's a bit too plain to match the awesome panels. Maybe a few monochromatic stripes across the background would make it look much more interesting.

Individual forum layouts...interesting. Not sure about if I would like it, it should have little arrows you can click for you to minimize/maximize certain forums.

That'd be cool for what the pic shows.

.
.
So I saw the new design and I thought I would put my share in.

I think being that "recent discussion" and "latest news" are the most used and noticed, then they should stand out. They should be contrasting colors and of course be symmetrical.

Now you can bring in blogs, downloads and the rest of the random babble that needs to be put.
These things are secondary, so they shouldn't stand out more then the main two subjects that brings people here in the first place.

I know the rest of the layout will be tricky having to get a balance of ads and content.

I just thought I'd say what I really thought.

I'm by no means a website designer but I took it upon myself to create and example and change the logo a bit. Hope you guys like my ideas.

I actually like tru's idea/design. I think the logo looks real good except for the fact we have all these stickers and stuff with the old logo. Collectors items maybe? The idea about Recent Discussions and Latest News is good but I dont think they are the main attraction for newcomers. They do help out, dont get me wrong, but I believe the actually Hardware/Software forums are what get people to register. Maybe keep them up top but just dont make them the most prominent part of the page. Just my .02cents
