So we never gave descriptions for each of the categories you can compete in.
I figured we could work together and define them here. We need to find some common things that separate each class from one another.
Does a pro case mod have to be created from the ground up or can it still be based off of a store bought case? Come on lets define the classes!! ![]()

Why shouldn't a Pro mod be based off a store bought case?
Syrillian worked wonders with his TJ-07, for example. To me, it's the amount of effort put in - if someone mods a stock case but puts in hours on every detail, thats Pro. A quick window and fan blowhole job is Amateur, while anything in between is in Intermediate.

Good point. Maybe we should just leave it as is.

Pro: In my opinion those with the most experience and skills should compete in this category, regardless of the amount of time spent on the project itself. I have to admit that if you are building a case from scratch then you have some skills and the experience and should be considering to compete in this category. Even if you're not building from scratch your skills and experience will still shine through your ability to make a specific case even better (by paying attention to all the minor details).
Intermediate: Everyone that doesn't fall in the Pro or Amateur categories. Amateur: This category should be left for beginners only.

Pro- Very skilled person doing very challenging mod that is very well thought out with very high details.
Intermediate- Skilled person doing challenging mod that is well thought out with medium-high details. Amateur- Not so skilled person doing basic less challenging mods with low to medium details. I think it is a combination of quality of mods and skill set, just my 2 cents. I also think a premade cases should be allowed in pro since this can prove to be very challenging to pull off certain mods. I am using a premade case that has been gutted and certain parts totally recreated. This will not be the same case when I am done nor will it even recognizable as the case it was originally.
