The PSU went absolutely crazy, sending at least 12v through EVERYTHING, then like the motherboard caught fire and the pc was just a giant torrent of smoke and WHITE hot flames.

Dude, just stay in the competition and post pics of "Project: Charred"
![]() Sucks to hear that though , you should talk to the PSU manufacturer, and see what they have to say.

I say paint flames on it and add a small smoke machine... then you're set. Enter it- what do you have to lose really?

I got a lot of work done on mine right off the start, then had an awkward 10-day standoff with one design aspect, which I just managed to overcome quite nicely last night. Been fighting a cold too. Hopefully I will be able to get some more done by the end of the weekend. Also, I was going to do maintenance work on my private work log tonight and add in my first batch of pics, but my GF saw me with her camera sitting in a small storage bin in my case, and she repo-ed it (I lost the mem. card to mine so I have been having to use her little point-and-shoot) and took it to work with her in her purse. ![]() She didn't know I needed it though, guess I'll have to get it back tomorrow.

I have a lot done, some painting and all my major cutting. I have a lot of intricate stuff left and the majority of painting. It is nice to get all the big stuff out of the way so I can concentrate on the tedious details. I have got a lot of pics up in my log, just waiting for the weather to turn better for the painting aspect of it.
