It was a Tie.
They split the winnings. Here is what we do in the odd case that we have a tie. I give the winners the choice of either holding a tie breaker or splitting the prize. Just in case the finalists don't choose the same option. We default to splitting the prize money between the winners. I did this because most ties result in two people. As you know, there is a good chance that they will not choose the same option. For the Tie breakers we hold a little competition that will put their modding skills to the test. We pick out a common and inexpensive building material for our finalists. This material will be the only component that our finalists can use in the construction of the tie breaking object. The object they build could be any number of things. We may decide that they will use their materials to make a bird house. We may have them create A mouse holster. We could set a task like build the tallest structure using only McDonald's straws, and string to hold it all together. This method gives us endless possibilities to use as tie breakers. To guarantee a winner from the tie breaker we will use a panel consisting of an odd number of judges instead of an open poll. These judges will consist of Forum Members as well as Staff Members. Half of the judges will be veteran modders, the rest will be non modders. The judges will be instructed to grade the object in several different categories. If the object was required to perform a task that will be the first thing the judges will look at.
