So it's something like this, you set it up, and say, you offer 100 cases - you pay admin 99 USD, and after/during that, you offer 100 custom harddrives - and pay admin another 99 bucks?

And is it infinite cases - being a deal you can restart after a while. Ie, use it now, have a couple of other "sellouts" and use it again after that?

This is great. This should add to OCN for sure. There are many members out there with some awesome talent but cannot justify a Vendor status. I look forward to seeing who comes out of the woodwork.

Infinite is an awfully big number, but the only limitation is on the 1 year duration. With your example, if you run a batch of CPU water blocks and then sell out, you could run another batch down the road and another after that and continue to sell them within the same membership year without additional cost. If during that time you decided to work up a GPU block, it would incur an additional listing fee, and you could sell those at any time within that particularly membership year.

Keep in mind that this is intended for member produced items and not wholesale type sales.

So to get this straight Taeric. Please correct me if this is wrong.

If you stick to the same product you may sell multiple batches under the same membership. However if you change your product for example CPU block to GPU blocks then this would incur an additional membership cost ?

Sorry if I am being dim.

Listings (and thus fees) are based on products. You could run as many separate batches of the same product as you could handle within a year without paying anything extra, but you would need to purchase a separate listing for a new product. Introducing a second (or third or... up to 10) product does not prevent you from doing additional runs of the first product.

It should be noted that a listing is a product or a service. If, for example, you do killer window mods, that would be one listing. You could do as many window mods as you could handle in a year with no additional fees. If you wanted to list a different service such as a cable management mods or GPU volt modding, it would be a separate listing.

It should also be reinforced that there has to be a substantive difference to warrant a separate listing. For example, if you a CPU block manufacturer, having different mounts (socket and/or material) for the same block design counts as one listing. A separate listing would not be required unless you wanted to sell a different block.

Sorry to be a pain Taeric, just trying to work out exactly where the lines are drawn

Let's say I'm selling CPU blocks and change the internal and external design completely to make it cool and look better - seeing as I'm still selling CPU blocks does that count as a new product seeing as technically it's a new block, or can I sell under the same listing?

From what I understood from Taeric's response it would be fine as it is still the same "product" -> CPU block. I guess that since you are allowed to introduce new batches of the CPU block then making modifications to it might also be inevitable. Please correct me if I am wrong.
