I will be posting a call for nominations for a variety of positions very soon. To support that, I'm posting general descriptions of the various positions in this thread. Exact duties will vary from forum to forum, but this at least will give you all some idea of how things will be divided up, especially since we're introducing a new position title. Open positions will be in the first three categories with the final three being included for completeness.

Forum Supervisors - Forum Supervisors are responsible for the overall operation of specific forums. They ensure the Terms of Service/Forum Rules and any rules or guidelines specific to a forum are followed, and they issue warnings and infractions, as needed, when rules are broken. Their duties also include the moderation of posts and threads. Forum Supervisors are the primary point of contact on the staff for members, and they are responsible for working directly with members who require attention from the staff.

Editors - Editors are responsible for creating content in specific forums. The form of this content will vary from forum to forum and may come in the form of guides, FAQs, and hosted software among others. Editors do not have moderation duties and do not have access to the warning/infraction system.

Forum Directors - Forum Directors have the responsibilities of both Forum Supervisors and Editors within specific forums.

Community Directors - Community Directors are senior staff members. They are each responsible for overseeing specific sections of the site and the staff members that work in those areas. Community Directors work as a team to handle community relations and policy decisions.

General Manager - The General Manager works with the Community Directors and Administrators to determine the overall direction of the site.

Administrators - The Administrators consist of the site owner and a small group of network and technical experts. The admins provide high level technical support and have the final say on policy issues.

As Taeric said, there are no replacements. We are not kicking anyone out for someone new. We are simply adding to the staff so that the Forum can be even better maintained and in the Editors case we will be seeing some good and fresh information in specific Forums.

I think there are people on this forum who have some great potential to fill these positions.

I look forward to seeing who we see come out of the woodwork.

This thread is to display current and future Forum organisation. We will not be actively seeking out singular individuals. This is more of a lead-up to things before we officially start the process of applications for positions.
