Call for Nominations: Closed: Various Forum Supervisor, Forum Editor, and Forum Director Positions

Not to beat a dead horse, but there's less than 1 hour remaining for new nominations.

I have posted follow up comments to several nominations, primarily with requests for clarifications or additional information. Please check your nominations and follow up, if necessary. This does not have to be done in the next hour, but a quick turn around would be greatly appreciated.

What happens next -

- I continue to crunch through all of the nominations that have been made. I'm at 83 and counting with quite a few more to go. The log of each nomination includes 16 items, so each one takes a while to process.
- I will PM anyone who has been nominated for a position but has not nominated themselves for that same position to see if they are interested in being considered. As much as we would love to keep all of the nominated member on the table, we're not planning on pressing anyone into service...not at this time at least.
- The senior staff will then review all of the nominations for each position and make preliminary selections.
- The Forum Directors will be engaged to help refine selections. They have already helped with the process by making their own nominations. Further input will be solicited to try to ensure we will have a cohesive team when all is said and done.
- The senior staff will then review all of the information and finalize the selections.
- While all of this is going on, necessary changes will be made to the site to accommodate the new positions.
- An announcement will be made on July 9 as to the successful nominees.
- Successful nominees will receive more info after the announcement, and the actual promotions should happen shortly thereafter.

On a slightly different note, we have been taking on new staff members every 12-18 months for the last few years, but I would like to see that drop to something like every 3-6 months in order to keep the staff at a good size and keep positions filled. If you did not submit this time around or are not successful with your nominations, please keep an eye on this forum for more opportunities.

i just have one question, how often are these nominations held?
i doubt i would get it, but I'm not going to be in school come September and would more then likely be spending a lot of time on OCN.

i am also looking forward to seeing who the new staff is.
