I'm trying to juggle a lot of things with the selections. We had as many as 11 very qualified candidates for the same position. I'm trying to find room for as many people as possible while giving each successful nonimee a reasonable position (e.g. I'm NOT assigning someone as a Forum Supervisor of the AMD BIOS forum only; each person will have a section or at least multiple forums, particularly with Forum Supervisor positions; Forum Editor positions have more oppotunity for very tight focus since the idea of FE positions is to generate specific content).

Anyway, due to the high interest in many of the positions, we're not going to be able to take all of the qualified people who were nominated at this time. There will be more opportunities in the near to moderate future (there's a position I've been meaning to post for the last couple of weeks, but I've been tied up with this process), so there will definitely be more chances to get involved for those who are interested.

I'm still shooting off a last few PMs before finalizing and posting the list. I expect there will be a couple more members added to the list after the announcement as a result of some PM exchanges.

We're currently looking at a list of 21 members that represent a broad cross section of the nominees and members in general. The average successful nominee has about 5000 posts, 440 reps, and has been a member for about 1 year and 9 months. The ranges on these numbers vary greatly, though (7 months to 3.25 years, 60 to 1250 reps, 350 to 12500 posts).

There were definitely more amazing members interested in positions than we had openings. I hope those were were not selected this time around will still be interested next time we are in need of additional staff members.

I will have the announcement posted shortly; I'll start writing it up after I shoot off a few more PMs and address any I have received in the last few minutes.
