It appears that some members have been beatifically attempting to lower the scores of other FAQs by purposely giving them a low rating when they actually deserve a high rating (i.e. 40 people vote 4 and one person votes 1). This is not a positive contribution to the forum and costs us great time and energy to clean up the mess.
We will be going through the ratings over the next little while, to see who the culprits are. All of which will be banned for these actions... unless they come forward now. Simply send me a PM explaining what you did and to which FAQs you did it to. You will not be banned for proactively coming forward. Thanks, admin

Hahahahaha, that is sad. I have a question for you though, what if someone doesn't agree with it, do they not deserve the right to give a 1? Why even have the one option if the general policy states that you will get banned for giving a 1? While not trying to sound like a caniving prick but don't you think that is somewhat... contradictory? But if one person is doing this is a large amount there should be somewhere in your tables on the SQL server you have that'll state it right there. If you cannot find it there, you could always look at the cache.

I think he's speaking of a user that continually gives out ratings of 1.

Some of the FAQs you can't really disagree with. How do you disagree with the multiple power supply FAQ? It was well written and accurate, thats what you should be rating it on. If you don't have a Intel PC don't rate a Intel FAQ poorly because you dont like Intel. I think that could be one of the problems.

We are only interested in following up with people who have been using the rating system in malicious ways.
