We are thinking about getting a BF2 Ranked server. Due to the fact that it will probably Fill up rather quickly all the time. We are thinking about letting people pay a small monthly fee to have a spot reserved for them in the server 24/7.

The way this would work, is This server would be a public server. overclock.net members who subscribe would be able to get in even if its full. The server would auto kick a non subscriber to allow for the subscriber.
If we don't get enough overclock.net members that subscribe, we would open subscriptions to the public.


What we need to know is how many of you guys play BF2. We don't want to get the server if we don't have enough forum members that play.

I'm sure you guys will have plenty of questions about this. We are just in the planning stage of this, so we don't have a lot of answers.

So I have 2 questions to help us decide if this is even viable.

1. How many of you guys play BF2??

2. How many of you would be willing to subscribe to a reserved slot?? (Our goal is to keep the price lower than the other subscription BF2 servers out there.)

How much would a reserved slot cost? When I get BF2, and if the subscription fee isnt to much, I may just have to get a slot..

Same as Jori, I play BF2, and when I go to college if I still play the game and everything I might go for one of the reserved slots, just depends on how the money can be sent really, maybe I'll get a verified paypal account.

I would definatly play, also depends on payment for a slot, I would maybe get one

I think if it were to get popular enough, more people would like to have a reserved slot if there server is always full

I would play on the server every time if I got good enough ping ...hopefully it doesn't kick people with high ping because my ping always spikes randomly because the *******s need to give out a patch to fix their ****
