Hello everybody!

It is my pleasure to unveil this evening a few changes to the way that our staff is laid out here on Overclock.net. These changes were designed to ensure that the main content areas of the site are kept clean and helpful, well-stocked with top-notch information, and always moving to our core goal of "the pursuit of performance".

To begin, our Forum Supervisors have been renamed to Forum Moderators - this is a title most of us are probably familiar with, and we feel it describes the roles of those individuals more accurately. Our Forum Editors titles remain the same. Both positions keep the same roles within the community (Moderators being responsible for fostering a clean and positive environment, Editors being responsible for creating content worthy of the best of the best and helping to create growth and learning in their area of the forums). Another title change is from Gameservers Supervisor to Gameservers Editor- this was also done to more clearly describe the role of the position.

In addition to the changes mentioned above, we have also added a "Managing Editor" position to the team and are happy to announce Mega_Option101 will be filling it. This temporary position on Overclock.net will be focused on organizing our editorial efforts and ensuring that with the help of our amazing Editors, Overclock.net contains best of breed content in an easy accessible form.

A few other changes you should be noticing very soon involve the badges under staff member's usernames. Forum Editors will get a badge describing the forum they work in (for example, where mine says "Forum Manager" you might see "Intel Editor"). In addition, our Gameserver Moderators and Chat Moderators will get badges, as well.

All of these changes (and possibly a few other tweaks ) will be implemented this weekend.

We appreciate all of your patience as we have "found our way" the last year or so - we feel that this current design will prove to be well worth the wait, and will help to propel Overclock.net into a stellar 5th year!
