$50/Week Prize - Contribution of the Week
Overclock.net is filled with amazing content - generated by some of the top enthusiasts in the performance computing, case modding, gaming and folding@home spaces - in addition to all of the other technology-related topics found within the community.
In order to bring this content forward and showcase it properly, Overclock.net has added a team of Editors to manage this process. One of the first steps the team will be taking in this initiative is by awarding a weekly prize for the "Contribution of the Week". Editors will nominate and then select the weekly winning threads based on the following criteria: 1) It provided value to the Overclock.net community 2) It attracted significant attention both at Overlcock.net and across the Internet 3) It was timely/innovative/newsworthy 4) It was in line with the values of the community A $50 cash prize will be awarded via PayPal each week and your contributions will be featured in a prominent section within our upcoming redesign. Wow, very cool. I'm always willing to submit content when I can even without incentive, because Overclock.net is easily the friendliest community I've ever had the oppertunity to be a part of. It's very respectable that you guys are going to do something like this.
As GH0 said, OCN certainly is getting better and better. It's a great place to unleash our creative sides.
