Default Minimalist Overclock.net Logo?

Putting together shirts, hats etc. has shown us that what you can create on-screen is not so easy to reproduce elsewhere. Based on a lot of advice, we are reconsidering a logo refresh that would allow us to more easily produce our brand anywhere with relative ease.

Personally, I love timeless, minimalistic design and would love to achieve it with this site someday. For now though, perhaps we can start with a logo?

Attached is a very rough concept that takes our current logo and minimizes it. Please ignore the colors. They are there to show you how versatile the design can be. Two colors - which can be easily swapped out.

This is far from complete - as I am no designer. But I wanted your thoughts on this direction. They may look somewhat plane at first - but will they grow on you too?

Thanks,
admin
