Thanks for your support Xye.. I was really surprised at how the paint work turned out. Just so happen that the Pine that got that stencil from is from a 30 foot Scotch Pine in my neighborhood. As far as I know I have never seen another one anywhere in the Area.

I'm not going to be upset if I don't win MOTM for this rig anyway. I do really appreciate the nomination, votes, and kind words - and it would be kind of neat if things turned around somehow and I won the poll at the last minute or something - but I wasn't really trying to enter any kind of contest by building this machine.

There are people who are much more experienced at this sort of thing that probably deserve recognition a lot more than me. Personally I would like to thank CyberDruid who took time apart from his own projects (and Lord only knows what other distractions), and shared a VERY helpful tip with me right in my project log that got me out of a serious jam with getting my radiators mounted in a decent fashion, at a time that I was extremely frustrated and running out of ideas. People like that are what make this community great, not the "one hit wonders" like me that just blow in, blow up, and blow out.

I still haven't decided which, of all the systems in the running, that I will cast my vote for. There are so many great ones. It won't be for my own system, though. I don't need to win some contest to be happy with my machine.

OK I admit it... plugging for a vote or two. Totally guilty.. I know I won't win and that's OK.

I re-did my first post for my project log one last time, so that it starts off with a "quick photo summary" of the entire project, showing highlights of the job - rather than just 1-2 pics. This way folks don't have to search through 60 pages of posts to see some pics. Also so folks understand I didn't just buy a bunch of parts and slap them all together.

PS: I'm voting for blackbox - I especially like his custom acrylic work like the rad shrouds.
