Default Artisan / Vendor Program Proposed Revamp

We are considering revamping our Artisan and Vendor programs and would love your thoughts on this.

The program would look something like this:

Google Spreadsheet

So in other words:

For $79 /year, an Artisan can list their product or service amongst the other Artisan offerings. They can use a single thread for sales/support.

For $249/year - they can have an actual forum named specifically for their product/service. As long as Overclock.net agrees their scope falls into a "single" listing (they do not offer a range of things), they can post or have members post as many threads as required to support the product in a reasonable manner. From both a search engine and visibility perspective, this has a huge benefit and a great way to take a product to the next level.

Vendor Fees would be reduced to $99 / month and would include the same benefits they have now + 50,000 banner ad impressions each month.

Thoughts on this? It's similar to now, but I think may be even more interesting to Artisans and Vendors alike.

Thanks,
admin

First of all, fix your chart.

Second, sounds like a great idea. I never did quite understand the price/etc for the artisan program.

I am wondering a bit about this one. What exactly do you mean by they do not offer a "range" of things? Basically, how different would products/services have to be to disallow them from that?

I like these changes, TBH I've liked the artisan program since introduced. I've been planning to get one or two things going but every time I think I've shoveled down to the bottom of the heap another turd falls onto the pile. :/

Please don't think that the Artisan forum is/was overpriced or unneeded, I just think some folks that have every intention of participating (including myself) end up getting caught up in life.

I tried a few times to contact admin about becoming an artisan but never got a response. Those seem like good changes though.
