In order to keep up with an ever-so expanding community, we have opened up a new position on the Editorial Team. This is just one of the many to come!

Air-Cooling Editor

The Air-Cooling Editor is responsible for ensuring Overclock.net provides our members and guests with pertinent and useful information related to all aspects of Air-Cooling (AMD and Intel).

The day to day duties of the Air-Cooling Editor would entail:

• Keeping on top of hardware and software developments related to Air-Cooling on both platforms (AMD and Intel).
• Publishing new content (guide, how-to, info, opinion, FAQ, etc.)
• Keeping the Air-Cooling Section organized and updated.

The Air-Cooling Editor will not be limited to the duties listed above. He or she will be able to pursue any relevant project/event/contest, which would benefit our Air-Cooling community.

Payment

While the job does not pay in a monetary sense, the Air-Cooling Editor will have a very important role within the community. The Forum Editor badge will be placed in your postbit for as long as you live up to the title.

Expectations

• Excellent technical background with regards to both hardware and software related to Air-Cooling.
• Demonstrate dedication to and knowledge of Air-Cooling.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A professional approach.
• An active participant within the community 5+ days a week.
• An addiction to going above and beyond to call of duty.
• Documentation of work in the Editor's Forum.

When you speak of "documentation of work in the editors forum" I am guessing you are meaning guides, faqs, etc in the air-cooling forum?

"Documentation of work in the editors forum" simply means that you should document everything you add to threads and such, to make sure that you're pulling your own weight. The editors has their own private section.

Yes, I believe that's what it means, or document your own work for your own use.

Writing/Editing new/current guides/FAQs/Sticky Posts/ and helping improve the "Air Cooling" Forum of the site.

The Editor's Forum is a place where you keep your rough draft's for guides/FAQ's/how-to/info/opinion/etc. Other Editors, can give you their input on it to make it "even" better.

Two heads are always better than one

It is also a place where you will find all of the other Editor's work. See what they are working on, offer your ideas/opinions, etc.
