No you will not get Popups on this site..Unless you are reffering to the Advertisements on the site. Install something like the Google toolbar found here:http://toolbar.google.com/en_GB/ and then enable the pop-up blocker and you are ready to go...But i would reccomend runnig a scan on your system for spyware as such.

i use firefox mostly but sometimes IE becuase sometimes one browser blocks something i need and sometimes its just norton

Which is why I said what I said! It's not the site that's giving him the popups. It's the spyware/adware app that he's got on his computer. Get spybot and adaware...and do a scan...that's all you can really do to get rid of that stuff..
