Aww man im so close to finishing downloading it.
Im gunna try running it in gx10 see what happens, I take it this is like the beta tweak, just back the config files up and paste them into the correct directory, then run in dx9?
This can be on vista aswell right, u dont have to be in xp?

yeah demo tweak, will prob work on retail too, yep u do exactly that u copy and paste run in dx 9 and of course u can do it in vista

I saw that when I was poking around the config files. Figured it wouldn't work due to hardware limitations, and I would have to do more modding than that.

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config

-> veryhighspec.cfg
->> Says sys_spec_Full = 4

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config
-> highspec.cfg
->> Says sys_spec_Full = 3

In highspec.cfg, you change the 3 to the 4. But since DX10 can do object blur and DX9 can't, you need to go to:

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Config\CVarGroups

Go through all the cvars (EXCEPT sys_spec_full.exe) and change all of the stuff from 4 into 3. Then save and play.
