the performance mod can be found on this thread: Source
Pauldovi - go to where you installed Crysis. under the main directory there are 2 folders, Bin32 and Bin64. obviously open each executable accordingly. well thats how it installed for me anyways, maybe its coz im running Vista 64-bit, it automatically created to different version folders? not sure. on a side note, something i thought of but didnt get time to try. with this 64-bit fix i found...has anyone managed to see if it fixes the SLI issue? coz SLI was doing the same thing, with the beta drivers it was just jamming up on load... i'll try when i get home from work today, only 7.15am monday here in perth

Worked for me, thanks! I had to set it to Force On. Force Off did not work.

I wasn't able to run it in 64 bit mode either, but I'll give it a shot!

I doubt it. If you hit ESC, you'll see that they're moving and eventually a tentacle alien appears. The squad leader is yelling at you: WE HAVE TO GO! and it's supposed to go black?

Well it doesnt seem to work for everybody. To be honest my game isnt entirely stable but it works. I have proof below. Also note, that I managed to get SLI running. All i did was Force On Vsync and set SLI mode to Alternate Frame Rendering 2. didnt try the others, had tried Single GPU earlier and it didnt work so didnt try again. Theres definitely a major driver issue happening here, since it runs then jams up. Also the frames are not SLI standard. I would expect, at 1680x1050 with no AA, to get perhaps 40fps. didnt happen. close though.
Settings: 1680x1050, 4xAA, everything on High (was spewing, I accidentally left it on high instead of Very High from mucking around with the Dx9 version). Didnt realise until after. Still looks good. Please excuse the JPEG files...BMP's from fraps look much better. Still doesnt justify the in-game experience. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Well this didn't work for me
I still crash when I hit the water. I run fine on the 32bit version though....BTW is that on all high settings, or just the shaders?

i pretty much get those same frames with single GTX, 1440x900 and no AA, everything V.High. my goal was to try and get SLI and V.High DX10 64-bit to work. it froze again after so i didnt bother trying. get so sick of resetting BSOD's lol.. judging from the tests i been running, i think its safe to say that its almost definitely a driver issue for Nvidia users. i would be shocked/horrified if they expect us to accept this performance as the norm. regardless of the fact im using year-old GPU tech.

I was crashing as soon as I hit the water, but I downloaded and installed the fileplanet demo and 64 bit works fine.....weird. Apparently the problem lies with the need to run EA DL manager in the background when you run the early release demo........gg EA. You are retarded.

Well now I'm not really sure that the FP version is running 64 bit because the shortcut has x86 in it (the 64 bit folder one), but it does have the 64 bit folder....anyhow, here are some screenshots. I still have some weird graphical artifacts that look like fireworks or something, but I'm sure that will be fixed in either the retail version or upcoming drivers.
