Default Fixing Crysis 64-Bit

Another Crysis thread! lol sorry, but this could prove more helpful.

For those running Vista 64-Bit (and XP i guess), you will notice with the latest beta drivers you cannot run Crysis in 64-Bit mode. i stumbled across a solution on the incrysis forums.

Basically, go into the Nvidia Control Panel, then Manage 3D Settings. At the bottom is the Vsync setting. most people would have this on App Controlled. That is what causes the jamming. Simply change it to Force Off or Force On. Im assuming most should be it to Force Off, as i doubt anyone has managed a constant 60fps yet.

I put it to Force Off and have successfully run Crysis in 64-Bit mode, both DX10 and DX9 with that new "performance mod". EDIT ** I ran it under Vista

EDIT: judging from my own testing, i seem to have more stability running Vsynce Force On rather than Force off.

<- 167.69 drivers with Vista 64bit and I finished the demo without any problems (except, at the end of the demo when the alien appears, I can't see anything (screen goes black) unless I go back to the menu and look at the background... and that's how the end of the demo was for me)
