Why would you recommend the Pentium D920?
A E2180 should outperforms the Presler, overclocks better, runs cooler, and is slightly cheaper.

The demo doesn't support multiple cores. Whether or not the final release of the game will remains to be seen. The game is supposed to be multithreaded and if it is a quad core would obviously have a huge advantage. With my computer I can play the demo at 1280x720 everything on high and no AA with 30-40 fps and occasional dips into the 20s.

I would bet good money the final version rides multi-cores.
