Fable - excellent game, one of my all time favorites. TLC (PC version) is the same as the xbox version until you beat Jack of Blades. On the xbox, beating Jack was the end. The PC version goes on to almost twice the length of the original.
KotOR I and II - both are also very good games and rank high on my list. Part 1 was just a straight up fun to play RPG with an enjoyable, easy to follow storyline. II was much darker and was a better game in my opinion, but there are large gaps in the storyline (including most of the ending) that leave it feeling incomplete. If you dig around in the game files you can actually find mp3's of dialog that were cut at the last minute to get the game shipped. There are even rumors of a whole planet pulled from the game at the last minute to make a shipping deadline.
NWN 1 (and expansions) and 2 - The first NWN is an all time classic but it feels slow by today's standards. It's a hardcore RPG...you can even see the die rolls if you enable it. It feels like a P&P RPG but with pretty pictures. NWN 2 is a more modern RPG where most of the rolls are done behind the scenes. I wasn't all that impressed because it had insane requirements at launch. I'll admit I didn't give it a fair chance before giving it to a friend.
Guilld Wars - it was fun while it lasted. It's an MMORPG, and it has the awesome feature of being free to play (take that WoW). The only real problem I had was that I felt I was missing out and/or gimped by only having the original campaign. You can play each expansion individually, mix and match, or buy them all. As you add an expansion, you gain access to new areas, new skills, and 2 new professions per expansion. GW has a fairly large, active subscriber base and it is designed to be group friendly. You won't find many extreme solo everything templates, but you also won't have a problem finding a PUG. The whole game (aside from towns) is instanced so you will never have to worry about kill-stealing or loot ninjas. There are money sinks to keep the game balanced but you'll find after a few days that having the ultra rare and expensive armor doesn't give you any real advantage over the average Joe except bragging rights. I've played several RPGs and I've never seen one as well balanced as GW. It is almost impossible to gimp your character and you don't have to go to ebay to get a good weapon. While the free play aspect is enticing, keep in mind that you'll end up paying around $200 for the original campaign and all the current expansions so you won't be saving much. Twelve months of WoW costs about $180...
I know these games have already been listed, I just wanted to give some more details about them from my perspective.
