Default Has anyone gotten Splinter Cell:CT to run on XP64?
Ok the title pretty much says it all. I have read a few things about the copy protection software being the problem, but I haven't found anyone that has gotten past it.

Im betting ubisoft didnt include a 64 bit compatible version of starforce... have you tried ubis and starforces website?

I downloaded the Starforce driver update from the starforce site and it said it couldn't find any drivers to update.

I just had a quick look through ubis site and starforces site, seems theres absolutely no mention of running the game on xp 64 bit pro

guess youll have to wait till it comes out then

I have an idea tho... if you really want to try and play it on your 64 bit comp, take a look at a guide I posted a while back... http://www.overclock.net/showthread.php?t=26093 ... its how to run a 32 bit shell on x64... starforce may work then

by the way, I hate starforce... a lot

Changing shells should not affect how a 32bit driver is handled. I may try it anyway, but I don't think it will help *this* particular issue. It may come in handy for other stuff though. This feels just like the migration from Win95 -> NT 4.0.

that guide mainly applies to shell integration... such as winrar adding options to the right click... worst comes to worst it doesnt work
