Ok so screenshots will be smaller.. But the gaming experience itself will still be the same.. right?

Or am i totally missing something?
If you have a LCD then the difference can be quite visible. If your LCD has a resolution of 1920x1200, but you're gaming at 1440x900 then you're only using roughly half the available pixels on the screen. Games look their best when the display adapter is displaying 1 to 1 with the monitor. Also if you're gaming on a much larger screen at the same resolution as someone on a significantly smaller one then his pitch is smaller resulting in a crisper picture for him.

Tl;dr: Tiny pixels make things pretty.

anywhere between 1280x1024 adn 1600x1200, but mostly 1600x1200 now. Let the stuttering begin! MY 7800 gets ok frames at that res, but it stutters...
