Some games actually allow you to see more (CSS, BF2 with a program, etc), as well as makes everything bigger when you go to lower resolutions

I play all my games at - 1440 x 900. Once I get a new monitor ill probably be playing my games at 1680 x 1050.

1680/1050 Just seems uggly to play at a lower res 1400/900 is ok on some games if they don't support 1680/1050.

With 90% of all of my games, i play them at 1024x768 and now more often at 1280x768 always 32bit colors. The last 10% those games are either too old and i have to play at 640x480 or they are newer ones and i have to run at 800x600.
