I downloaded nHancer to try and apply AA to this game, but doesn't seem to make a difference either way. Am I doing sometihng wrong? Mass Effect wasn't one of the default games in the list, so I had to manually add it. May have been the problem.

I just did it through nvidia control panel. Change it to override all application settings and it should work. AA really makes the game look a lot better.

Yhea I have 4XAA and 8XAF
damn, the game is fine, never breaks below 20FPs, and believe me, 25FPs is as smooth as 60 on any other game.(I get 40 Fps almost every time, with my system on Stock)

Tried that as well, didn't seem to matter...

How do you take screen shots in this game? Maybe that will help me notice difference. May also try to hit up different areas in the game.

Have you tried renaming the executable to "bioshock.exe" and using the Bioshock profile in the CP to force AA?

i loved this game! loved the combat, the story, grew attached the characters(Ashlee in-particular wink wink shes pretty hot.) and thought the graphics where great!

i just played and played, and found my self looking at the time and realizing i should have gone to sleep hours ago!

only thing is! it was so dam short!
i went to every planet one by one and explored them all which grew very boring after a while but im glad i did, i finished the storyline so quickly. if it had have been longer it would easily become my fav game.

I just finished the game this afternoon.
AWESOME game. Very short though. I beat it in about 20 hours, but I missed a lot of the side quests.
I think I'll probably restart the game and spend more time doing the side quests.
Plus, this time I have to go after Liara.

I am taking my time this play through. I actually started over before I finished the game. I got to the end so fast I knew I missed probably 1/2 the content.

I agree that just doing side quests gets a little old after awhile. I have played quite a few hours and haven't done Feros or Ilos yet (sp?). Having more fun this go round and have a ton of cash.

I really want to get the best weapons and armor this time. What should I be looking for? My guy is a soldier so I'm looking for pretty much everything.

The best weapons are bought. You need to have $1M credit to unlock the Achievement to buy Sceptre exclusive weapons. There are two levels that I know of..... VII and X. You need to get to around lvl 50 to see the Level X gear for sale.
