Ok I see this game has been getting bigger latley. And well I have been playing if for over a year now. So anyways I want to do a thread dedicated to this great game. First let me give you a quick overview of the game.



Fight in the theatre of war that changed the world forever. Battle alongside your compatriots on some of the most inhospitable environments of the Eastern Front in Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 RO places you in the most realistic WWII first-person multi-player combat to date on the PC, allowing the player to fight through some of the most intense combat of the war. You can play as infantry, using a wide range of infantry weapons, or crew one of the many armoured combat vehicles available in the game, from half-tracks all the way through to the most famous German and Soviet heavy tanks. You can engage the enemy with everything from your bayonet at close quarters up to the massive 122mm cannon on the Soviet IS-2. And if that isn't enough, find an officer and a radio to call in thunderous artillery strikes to shake the enemy loose.

Darkest Hour mod.

Darkest Hour is a modification for Red Orchestra focusing on the Allied Landings starting on June 6th 1944.

Mare Norstrum mod.

Mare Nostrum is a modification for Red Orchestra OstFront 41-45 that concentrates on adding both new playable forces and many new specially designed custom maps to play in. Aiming to bring the most realistic and exciting experience of the battles of the deserts of North Africa up to the invasions of Sicily and Italy and the Allied 'Road to Rome'.

Carpathian Crosses mod.

Carpathian Crosses mod brings the next new nationality to the game - the Romanians, who provided the single largest contingent of Axis troops on the Eastern Front, after the Germans themselves. The player will get to experience a completely unique setting, that has never been done before! On top of that, they are also adding the famous Russian Black Sea Naval Infantry - the "Black Death". The mod features new maps, new models, new vehicles and weapons including the first playable mortars.
