I'm looking for opinions on the two games. I've heard a lot of good things about both games and wanted to hear from people who have played them.
Should I get one vs the other or just get both since TF2 is only $20.

I'd just go on ahead and get both...TF2 is a great game, plus it's only $20. I've not played COD4 but I really want to, and sounds like it's worth every penny.

I found TF2 no fun at all for some reason. None of my CSS skill worked so i completely sucked and after playing 1 hour i quit. Go to xfire.com and see if TF2 is even in the list. Although i dont like COD4 much it is a much better game then TF2.

Wel TF2 is more class based, like Quake Wars (If you've ever played that)
Also COD4 does offer single player mode; whereas TF2 is alll online play

TF2 is more cartoony and gimmicky, cod4 is more realistic... depends on what you're looking for in a game

TF2 seems to have the longevity part of it, due to the just now updating of achievements and such. COD4 ranks alot faster and therefore you get tired of it faster becuz u dont get the rank ups in game anymore. but gameplay wise they are both hecticly intense.
