I'm not saying that you're lying, I'm just wondering what kind of torture you put your PC components through that would cause 3 Momo Wheels to break....when I haven't had a single issue in over a year and a half.
1. My giant Dog (great dane x rotti) knocked it off my desk on to the floor wheel first. Knocked something off inside, no vibration.
2 I turned to hard to the right and broke something inside, the wheel would go almost 360degree's.
3. Lived on my desk, nothing ever happened to this one except my kids using it. This wheel just stopped responding to thw wheel being moved to the right.

I guess its like any product, you can get the good ones or the bad ones.
I'll stick to my MS wheel that has never let me down, even after many drunken races and punches for lost races.
Ballistix anybody?

1. Fair enough.
2. Why so hard on the wheel? You know it's plastic, be gentle
3. Did kids drop it or anything?

If you want to pay 300 for a PC/PS23 wheel go right ahead. I prefer to buy something that supports current consoles. Stupid Shopbot.

The steering stops are metal. That's what's broken inside the second wheel.

I have no plan to buy a console in the near future and if I do, I shall buy a new wheel specially designed for that particular console.

Fair enough . Like I said, I've never personally had an issue with my Momo wheel. If your MS wheel works good for you....well to each his own . I might actually end up having to get rid of my wheel for a XBox 360 controller....the girlfriend doesn't like the wheel being in the way of the keyboard (noob).

Yeah, if you're on a budget, it's hard to go wrong with a Momo. Regardless of what wheel you have, having ANY wheel at all makes a racing game 10x more fun.

I look forward to the day when I can upgrade to a G25 though.

EDIT: BTW, I've been using a Momo enough to wear down some of the steering wheel texture over the past year and a half, and haven't had a single problem with it. It's been quite reliable and sturdy for me.
