We've been seeing id's Rage for a while, presumably it'll run on the same engine.

That's kinda reminiscent of Rage's graphics.. Perhaps an early render from an early build of its engine.

i personally hope this is NOT doom. since when did the demons from hell adopt these biomechanical parts? looks like this guy came from a lab.

i do realise the final Doom 3 boss, which is the same as the Doom 2 boss, had some robotic parts, and that was weird enough. along with the giant spider from Doom 2. but they were bosses, they are aloud too

this would better suit a new Quake game.

I can confirm without a doubt that this is not from Doom4. It surfaced in 2005 and was a render made to predict how Doom4 might look like.
