Oh! my bad, you must be a Red Dot user. Like I said, I don't see the use of Red Dot on guns with good Iron Sights like the AK-47 and RPD. Don't get me wrong, I used to rely on Red Dot for all my kits, until I had to complete the challenges to get my Golden AK I noticed Iron Sights isn't all that bad, because the MP44 doesn't allow any add-ons I got used to Iron Sights since then.

You can come play me on my server, Hardcore, no last stand, martyrdom and grenade launcher. Killcam is disabled and the Helicopter has been nerfed (meaning it fires less often and isn't as accurate).

No, HC is for people that want more of a challenge. In Normal mode you need to spray because it requires like 10 bullets to kill someone!

Hardcore is FAR FAR FAR more realistic in damage terms. You may be able to kill easier but its also easier to die.

Im pretty sure others hate it when I sit at the back of the map poppin heads off....ban snipers?.....

On another note.. COD4 is pretty good - I really like the limited voice chat, more playing time and less time muting

also the game looks incredible

I play alot of hardcore too, imho the best weap for it is the M14 with red dot, thing is awesome, and you dont have to worry about walls that much

very good for long range, as steady as they come and fire rate is not bad, with bandolier,Steady Aim and double tap, even at close range most would be hard pressed taking you down, as you let off bullets who's ricochet is enough to kill'em

Your funny, no one said any type of weapon was banned, just 3 perks and that's all. You make yourself sound like your so good at sniping. Why don't you come on my server and see if you can even get one shot on me with your sniper. One thing is for sure, I'll out snipe you with my silenced Skorpion and you know why? because COD4 bullet distance and damage is glitched and all messed up (unlike BF2), therefore no matter what gun you use you can still hit your target from miles away.

Every type of FPS has it's restrictions to make the game more fair. Take CS:S for example, more and more servers are limiting the use of AWPs and some straight out ban the use of AWPs. Some CS:S servers ban the use of Smoke Grenades because it lags the server. Every server has it's set of rules, and if you don't like it then don't play on that server, it's as simple as that. Certain people enjoy playing on restricted servers because they enjoy having those rules in place.
