Ok just ran 3DMark06 at Max Settings on the 22" and guess what? The Score went up 535 points from defualts! Ran with these settings 1680x1050 | 8 Sample AA | AA Quality 2 | Antistopic Filturing | Antistopic Level 16 | VS and PS Profile 3.3 and got a better score then with the defualt settings!

No. CPU bottlenecks never give you LOWER FPS at lower resolutions. You can only get the same amounts.
I think he's got a weird less than desktop resolution conversion issue.

From my understanding, S-Video are at 420p and Component are at 720p.
__________________Now the only difference between a HDMI and a DVI is that HDMI has sound output capability while DVI doesn't support sound out put. They both have equal resolution output. I built a System for my friend with a 9800GX2 and used a HDMI to HDMI Cable and the resolution is at 1600p. as for me, I use a 24" LCD and have my resolution at 1200p. As for AGP, they have even higher resolution with very high refresh rates but the only downside is that its analog. For HDMI and DVI Cables, its not what the cable can do but its the main device that does the output. my main point is that if the video card sends in 1600p to a HDMI Adapter, it will take the resolution and send it to the screen without any problem provided that the screen can handle it. Correct me if I have been living with a wrong concept.

Analog (S-Video, Composite, Component, etc...) connections are not limited by resolution or whatever, only by bandwidth...
