Hey OCN,
__________________I have a 26'' Sony 1080i TV and today i hooked up my PC to it and tryed COD4 today at 1900x1080! Only to find out i get a FPS increase from my 22'' res. of 1680x1050! At 22'' i would drop to 60 FPS and at 26'' never went below 120! In Crysis on 22'' stays at around 20-30 FPS on medium no AA! On 26'' never seen it below 35 FPS! Why is this so?

When you change the resolution of the game it may very well change your other settings. Might want to double-check that shadows and whatnot haven't been knocked down to default or something.

I experienced a similar problem with a newer card and an older game.
Half-Life (Original) on Radeon X1300 I was just messing around, but when I dropped the res to 640x480 I got 30fps and when I pumped it back up to 1024x768 I got 60+?

I also experienced this with oblivion, and it turns out the game runs better when it's at the same resolution as the desktop. I have no idea why this is.
