does anyone else get really disappointed, when they've sat down, to play the new game they'd bought to "last them through the rest of the summer" (this being call of duty 4) then get out of the chair 6 hours later because you've completed it??

don't get me wrong, it was a brilliant game to play, it was just too damn short...

The singleplayer was short, but i think most of its worth is the multiplayer.

Personally I only play online multi-player games as I find single player too flat, with multi-player you never know what real people are going to! That's why I love BF2 and the noobs! You can't beat a full black hawk taking off from the carrier and flying straight backwards into the water and killing everyone!

that is true, but there's less defense for games like episodes 1 and 2 of half life 2 however, considering apart from the GMOD10 features (can't remember if rumour or not), they can't be played online...

lol, I know exactly how you feel. I bought Bioshock to last through christmas break, but within the week I was done
As for episode 1 and episode 2... well, they're called episodes so you can't be expecting them to last forever.

but BF2 really made me <3 PC. I personally loved that game even if i was getting massed raped. I just enjoyed so much. I never or barely got angry at it
