No Problemo, I'll do a quick rundown for you.

Steam ID: Think of this as your Social Security Number. The majority of bans are done by banning your steam ID. Every steam id is completely unique.

Ex. STEAM_0:0:7562177

Steam Account Name: This is the name you signed up with and the name you use to log in to steam. This is the name you need to give people if you want them to add you as a friend.
