Default patch trouble...help!

i just installed stalker shadow of chernobyl on my sig rig, i heard the original version on the game was really buggy, so i went to download the patches. i tried to install the first patch available, and i keep getting an error message when i try to install it. it says i need to turn off my virus scanner, although i made sure all of my virus protection was turned off. yet i still get the error. does any1 know how to fix this? +rep to any help! and a screenshot of the problem below!!!

by hitting cntrl+alt+del keys you can bring up tsk mngr and browse through "processes" to look for any other parts of the virus software running, then highlight over them and click "end precess"



or you can reconfigure the virus program so it doesnt run at windows start up and restart..... then try installing the patch...


Remember to turn the virus software back on and have it run at start up tho...

do you have any anti spam or anti spy ware running or anything that may be sorted into a virus protection like program?
