Stalker: Clear Sky questions

How do I get the bandits to like me? I need to get into their base since I just restarted my game but they shoot me as soon as i get close. If I start killing the loners will I be alright? I'm going to kill all the bandits as soon as I finish their quest since I don't want to join their faction. Thanks
