"im a fire starter, twisted fire starter...hey hey hey"

no seriously, not ALL WoW players are that bad, obviously. my comment was aimed at the specific ones that are...which is a lot.

we can argue all we want about it, but the news articles/stories floating round, the membership count and every gamers general knowledge of WoW in society today, including my own personal accounts with people that have/do play it, know that a HUGE amount of WoW players are sickly obsessed with the game, devoting large amounts/ALL of their time to it.

that, i will never understand. or become a part of.

i never said it was a bad game, nor do i hold anything against anyone for playing it. as i said, i just cant understand the obsession with playing it. maybe just before bed or something, for a little bit. so you get tired and sleep easy. i dunno. haha

carry on

I quitted cos I didn't like the fact that they reduce rade size to 25
in TBC so they broked guilds. 25 Just dosen't feel as "epic" as 40.

40 man rading is a whole era of WoW that never going to happen again.
It was a period of a lot of people lifes, when u get up and you raid the whole day,
and you just speed up on your way home from classes so you don't miss raid,
and you get up on Saturday at 6AM to raid BWL for 8 hours to get your stupid gloves
to drop and they never do, and then you get tier 3 and you are like the one of
the only ones who have it and everyone envies you, such great feelings...

Used to be such a great game, I'm tempted to start again with the next xpac
maybe there's still some fun to be had but 10 - mannable Arthas is kinda boring IMO.

Rob, do it man and post it here in the news section. I don't care what these people say, I enjoy reads like this. It makes a change from the constant "[Fudzilla] Nvidia sucks, we just said it" as well as "[Pirates] Piracy manages to kill a small developer no one had heard of until this article" or perhaps "[EA] Piracy does jack all to us"

I imagine them sat at their PC in full spec ops gear talking down their little microphones and using l33tspeak crossed with military lingo that amounts to "jump up and down like a pratt until there's only one of us left"

Felt more like a WarHammer advert to me than a real article.

I have happily played wow for 3 years and I admit i do play alot, have quit at times for periods of time, like months on end and then return.

Frankly, Anyone who calls wow players "no lifers" need to look at themselves, for they are people who would play Counter Strike more than wow players play wow, they are ones who go to LAN tournaments and spend their time on a game. I played CS before wow and I will be truthful, i played CS more than wow, i was in a college CLAN team, i went home played CS for hours and hours.

This goes for all games, there are people who play other games as much as wow players yet they call wow players "no lifers". If you don't agree with wow players life style or the game itself then don't insult others for it.

Sorry for my rant but I am sick of general attitude towards wow players across the Internet. (Yes, I am aware of irony that i just bashed CS players )

I call wow players Lifeless and I play less than 5 hrs a week max of videogames. Does that make me the full time college student, full time employee, head of multiple student organizations lifeless?

I think not.

Denying that WOW distracts from a real life is pure denial.
