the PC gaming world is not just about Crysis, Farcry 2 or Dead Space. there's a wonderful puzzle game that came out a couple of weeks ago called World of Goo. seriously this game is pure genius, simple, funny, clever and is just 20$ on Steam.

do yourself a favor and grab it. or at least try the demo. you'll never have as much fun at playing this game as you'd have with any other game.

p.s. if somebody have a list of everything that appear on the screen when you load the game, that would be wonderful, there's some funny stuff right there.

I would've snapped it up on steam as fast as I could as I love the demo. But for some reason it's not available on the EU version of steam and won't be until the Q1 2009 apparently.
But I can't wait so I've decided to take the plunge and get it by download off their website and pay it by paypal.
Got the email instantly with a download link. DRM free as well it says. I'm impressed.

so, no love for the Goo. come on people, you'll have way more fan than any triple A game that's coming out at the moment. trust me.

Played the demo for a bit, good game, though I don't think it's worth $20, all probley pick it up eventually.

I would get it, but after seeing Braid, I'm instead going to wait for them to make that available on Steam. (I'm patient.)
Still, yes, I would say more game development thought went into World of Goo than say, Far Cry 2 and GTA 4 combined.
